Bit of background on Rachael Flood
Rachael comes from a background which was rather successful. She is the Great Granddaughter of Philantropist and Entreprenuer James Flood. The family owned company has been running for almost 120 consecutive years with her Father holding the reigns at the moment, manufacturing electrical and plumbing fittings and has been for over 40 years. Before him it was her Grandfather and Great Grandfather who ran a car manufacturing firm which opened in 1907. Some brands who used Floods were Bentley, Mercedes, Fiat, Bugatti, Hispano Suiza, Austin, Rolls Royce to name a few , they also did work for the government making buses and war tankers and ammunition during the war times. Huge history on this and a documentary is planned to be released as its quite interesting and is a big part of manufacturing business history in Australia.
So considering her upbringing around the family business being mentored from an early age you can say business is in her blood... Its 2nd nature to her and is recognized in business networks both locally and internationally.
